The workshop was conducted during 8–9 January 2026, wherein 40 Eco-Club teachers from 10 districts of Assam were trained through expert-led sessionsand hands-on demonstrations. Participants learned practical techniques to convert water hyacinth waste into eco-friendly, value-added utility products, promoting waste-to-wealth and circular economy approaches.

The 40 trained teachers will serve as master trainers, further cascading the knowledge and skills to teachers and students at the district and Eco-Club levels, thereby multiplying the impact of the initiative and fostering environmental stewardship among young learners.
