Empowering the Future Stars: Over 800 New Solar Ambassadors!

Sikkim IA of EEP successfully conducted the Student Solar Ambassadors Workshop Series. Adopting a whole-school approach, 13 workshops engaged students across all six districts of Sikkim.

Hands-on skills for a Sustainable Future as a part of Environment Education Programme under the guidance of Sikkim IA in convergence with the Solar Technicians of GSDP, over 800 students were skilled in assembling solar study lamps. This wasn't just theory—it was true experiential learning.

Each student received a Solar Study Lamp Kit to assemble. This initiative serves a dual purpose: reinforcing the message of sustainable living and providing a reliable light source to help students prepare for their upcoming board examinations.

Schools have expressed immense gratitude to the Environment Education Programme (EEP) for this timely support making tangible long term impact, acknowledging the direct benefit to students' academic preparation.
