The program's core lay in its practical application. Following a creative workshop, students learned to make creative cloth bags from old clothing as a direct substitute for plastic carry bags. This simple yet impactful activity demonstrated that sustainable alternatives are both accessible and effective. The initiative also introduced a circular economy model: the handmade bags prepared by young creative minds were also sold at the Haat Bazar in Melli, turning a sustainability project into a self-sustaining venture. To ensure the message reached the wider community, the Eco-club students of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Melli Bazar, led an extensive awareness campaign. Students went store-to-store spreading the message of "Say No to Single Use Plastic". To further amplify their efforts, awareness posters were strategically displayed in high-traffic public areas, including banks, hospitals, and public notice boards. This initiative's success proves that combining education with practical skills and community engagement can lead to lasting environmental change. It empowered students to become active participants in building a sustainable future, inspiring the entire community to collectively protect Mother Earth.
